How to use
In the beginning, you are rubbing it on for yourself ('stop stretch marks, stop stretch marks') but as the weeks go by and your tummy grows, it becomes a magic ritual of massaging your baby and a time to dream, thinking of names and what wonders await.
Rub on twice daily - from above your boobs to below your bum and all the way round.
Hot Tip
You will want to use it for at least four months after baby has arrived in your world. This is because it helps keep your skin toned and tight as you shrink back down to normal. It is totally safe to use whilst breastfeeding.
As with all Mama Mio skincare, just avoid the nipple area as your baby does not need a mouthful of Tummy Rub!
How it works
Well this is where it all started! This is the oil made for Sîan when she was pregnant with Charlie who is now 17 and 6 foot tall (at least)!
So now you know why we feel so much affection for Tummy Rub Oil. It is a gorgeous blend of only four premium oils, rich in Omega 3, 6 and 9, which we discovered are absolutely key to protecting your skin throughout the nine month s-t-r-e-t-c-h. You will notice that it sinks in quick... it is a completely un-oily oil! This has taken 15 years to perfect; in the first few batches it was orange and stained everything. But it is absolutely perfect now; colour-free, it won't stain your clothes (or your sheets or your husband!), soaks in immediately and is exactly what your skin craves.

Every ingredient in Mama Mio Tummy Rub Stretch Mark Oil has a distinct moisturising purpose and is laden with Omega 3, 6 and 9 – superfood for the skin. Our Tummy Rub Stretch Mark Oil is a perfectly balanced blend of four oils:
Sweet Almond Oil is rich in all important omegas and very nourishing. It is highly moisturising and quickly absorbed, leaving a soft sheen on the skin with no residue.
Borage Oil is an ancient oil used in the Far East for thousands of years, it’s one of the richest sources of Essential Fatty Acids omegas, specifically gamma-linolenic acid (rich in omega 6) is very effective in healing damaged skin. Borage Oil is wonderfully moisturising and very active as it is quickly recognised and utilised by the skin.
Wheatgerm Oil is rich in Vitamin E and is amazingly healing and nourishing to the skin. In addition Vitamin E is useful for its role as a powerful anti-oxidant, soaking up free radicals (so that’s anti-aging) and helping those superfoods get on with their vital work.
Rosehip Seed Oil is very rich in Omega 3 and 6, which are beneficial for the treatment of damaged and distressed skin by providing intense moisturisation. This oil has the added benefit of naturally occurring trans-retinoic acid (think benefits of retin–A but without side effects) which is very helpful in preventing stretch marks.

Before I got pregnant I searched for a good brand of oils and creams that worked for stretch marks. Mama Mio tummy oil and belly butter seemed to have amazing reviews so I decided to try it out. I have stretch marks on my sides just from growing up and I guess I never put on any creams because I do not like the icky feeling of lotions on my skin. The first day I got this oil and the cream it was just AMMMMMMMMMMMAZZZINNG! I started using it from 12 weeks I am 22 now and not a single stretch mark..YET. I am almost finished my bottle and I will definitely be ordering another one and recommending this product! It does not leave you with a gross icky feeling, it absorbs into your skin right away leaving it hydrated all day. It has a light citrus scent. I never take the time to write reviews but am doing so today because your products are exceptional. I am 39 weeks pregnant today without a single stretch mark on my tummy or boobs. I have a very strong history of stretch marks in my family - mom is completely covered in them and I got quite a bit on my legs and butt from weight loss/gain and growth. I've been using the tummy oil and butter combination religiously (sometimes 3 times a day!) since about week 12 and I am all tummy so quite big. This is one of the most effective skin care product lines I've ever used and makes me feel confident and happy to be pregnant. It's also nice to know it's free of harsh chemicals.

I got tons of stretch marks when i was 12 years old from just growing (both wider and taller) so as soon as i got pregnant I was positive I was doomed. I bought both this product and the body butter and used religiously as soon as my belly started growing and managed ONE miniscule stretch mark I barely noticed until I searched. I swear this had to be the only reason I didn't get a million.

This product is by far the best out in the Market. When i found out that i was expecting, the first thing i thought is that if i don't look after myself I'd definitely get some stretch marks. I tried products from chicco and mother-care to see the different, and they kinda help but don't feel the same quality as this product! am now 7 months and still have no new stretchmarks from pregnancy! i will keep using and applying this product as well as the tummy butter and will see how it goes, but i am confident that my skin will be well looked after by these products! just amazing!!!!
