The four founders of Mama Mio are, quite simply, four women who want to feel good in our skin. Mama Mio truly is a reflection of our own experiences through the different life stages – footloose and fancy free, pregnant and glowing, trying to get our bodies back in shape, and now a whole new phase of becoming women of wisdom (but still wanting to look good in a bikini). Mama Mio is anti-gravity, anti- aging, skin-elasticising, fat-busting, orange peel zapping, toning and tightening, high-performance skincare - using the very best quality of ingredients at very high dosages so you see and feel maximum benefits very quickly.

We are ridiculously proud of our formulas. We spend years making sure they are the best they can possibly be. We are extremely demanding on our poor biochemists, questioning every single ingredient and benefit claim. We include all the actives at the highest recommended  levels because we want our products to really work. The best way to find out whether we have succeeded is to have a look at some our amazing testimonials because it means so much more than anything we can tell you.

So now you know how much we care about what we put in our skincare, you should also know that we care just as much about what we don't put in. At Mama Mio we maintain a strict NO NASTIES policy. Every Mama Mio product is safe to use at any time from pregnancy stage to pensionable age. It is Paraben Free, Petrolatum Free, Sodium Laureth and Sodium Laurel Sulphate Free, Xenoestrogen and Phtalates Free, Colourant and Synthetic Fragrance Free. Quite simply, if it's a nasty, it 's  a no-no.

We believe in constant positivity. Skincare was invented to make women feel good. Sometimes we question why so much skincare advertising actually has the reverse affect, making women feel bad about themselves. We don't agree with the extreme retouching trend and worry that we are losing sight of how great women can look - real women - at every age. A gorgeous Spanish beauty editor (in her fab fifties) told us a lovely thing. To her, the product name 'Love Your Life Lines' 

completely summed up Mama Mio's philosophy. Not 'Hate Your Life Lines' or 'Erase Your Life Lines' but love them because they are a sign of a life well lived - and how can that not be a beautiful thing?

Whenever people ask us about our products, we just suggest they read some of the amazing testimonials that women have sent us. To write to us about Tummy Rub is one thing – such a lovely emotional time of a woman’s life where you are quite simply making a little miracle (a baby!). Of course, you don't have to be a mama to love Mama Mio. We've heard so many times: I don't have kids but I still love your stuff! Well, that makes us happy.
